Visual Treats

Sorry I haven’t posted for awhile, things have been busy, children have been poorly and  family life is at the forefront.

I have still had time to work on some new pieces and the lovely Often Hover has shot some beautiful photos which I will post up soon. In the meantime let’s look at some nice stuff…

Visual treats.

Hooray it’s Monday, whether you like it or not it’s the idea for a fresh week ahead with endless possibilities. I felt a little uninspired last week and didn’t get any art work done, I’m hoping this week I can knuckle down and get creative.

Illustration Friday

Wow that was quick! Another week has passed us by and I hope that everyone has returned happily to work, school and home life routine feeling happy. This time of year can feel so dull and the art’s and culture can provide us with a much needed boost. So go visit a museum, gallery or park this weekend and feel good.

Here is a pick of some wonderful illustrative work to give your eyes and mind a boost! (click on the images for links, yay)

Great style for curvy girls.

As a size 14-16 girl I love looking at images of other curvy girls to get style ideas. I often find it hard to imagine myself in outfits featured online because the models are so slim. I ask myself ‘How would that hang on me?’ ‘Would it suit my shape?’ and I end up feeling a little frustrated.

I love all shapes on women and I am certainly not anti skinny, if your happy and it feels right for you, enjoy it. Nobody owns your body but you. If skinny girls only saw clothes/styles/looks modelled by bigger girls I think they would find it hard.

Here are some beautiful looks I found on my internet travels, enjoy…
