I am launching a Craft Party service.
Why not try making a beautiful bird mobile?
|Ooh la Lapin can come to your party, set up and tidy up.
No mess, no fuss. Just a great experience.
- A great idea for children’s parties with an age appropriate activity. Every child leaves with a handmade item, from printing there own t-shirt to making a hand puppet. Arty Party bags can be provided too!
- Why not make it part of a hen tea party? All take part in producing something beautiful and memorable for your wedding day like bespoke bunting.
Or hire us for any event where we can bring craft to you!
The craft supplies and ideas will be where possible eco friendly, recycled and most of all beautiful.

Sadly yes I am already planning my cosy Autumn wardrobe, I love autumn its my favourite season. Hot chocolate, beautiful colours in the forest, blustery seaside walks and popping out of the wind and rain into one of the local boozers for some real ale. Here are some of my buys I’ve eyed up. Its all a bit frilly…
Avoca Aran socks.
If I had the money.
anything by Orla Kiely!
I have just finished making this quilted eiderdown to go in the living room, I even had a little nap under it on the sofa this afternoon. I make so much for friends, clients and family that sometimes a girl needs to make herself something nice.
This is my blog chair where I sit of an evening tending to the wordpress and answering emails. Its a happy little corner with my lovely crochet blanket that Dans auntie made for us as a wedding present. I cherish and love it, thats why handmade is so special.
Im so into home porn at the moment, drooling over the possibilities of kitsch and colourful interior design. I found these today and love them, oooh yummy.
This is a project that I feel so privileged to be part of. Check out the blog here.
This is why the arts are so important to community and culture, any drastic cuts in funding would be a travisty.
Why Miki? Miki is a Japanese name meaning ‘beautiful tree’ which to me summed up what we were trying to achieve; a harmony between the natural and the beautiful. Sustainable. Ethical. Beautiful
I just had to post something about local online business MIKI.
After reading about them on Strong Island today I checked out the site and its very lovely, sorry guys for kind of stealing a post but I love what the business is doing and had to show some support.
Yay for Miki, a local Southsea business run by two ladies who obviously have oodles of taste and eco friendly to boot!
Come down to Aspex gallery tonight (see link on Blogroll) for ‘Extreme Mufti’.
Bring in your board games to re-live the last day of term! If you can’t find your top-trumps don’t worry – artist Birgitte Lund will be on hand with drawing games a plenty.
See you there x
I love looking at the ‘Corners of my Home’ group on Flickr, which I contribute to sometimes. Crafting for your home can be one of lifes little pleasures, I also love upcycling second hand furniture and quirky touches. My house feels like a home and its always a treat to look at and be inspired by other peoples homes!
Found this picture on flickr and I love the colours of her dress mixed with the chunky bangles. The fabric is beautiful.
