squid drop.

What a beautiful morning to leave a knitted squid outside the local aquarium! This is something I should be able to declare every Saturday but alas I do not have enough time to produce a squid every week!

A curious Blue Reef employee came out to see what we were up to and whole heartedly agreed it was a wonderful thing. I hope Burt has found a lovely owner, here’s some more photos….

Burt is off.

A big thank you to Cat and Jodie who suggested leaving Burt outside the Blue Reef aquarium in Southsea. I will be putting him there on Saturday morning with a little note. If someone wants to give him a home he will be there for the taking! I like the ‘escaped squid’ idea it makes me smile.  I will get in touch to send the girls a free Ooh la Lapin toy as promised. Keep checking the blog as I will be launching another competition in July to celebrate the Ultrasaurus on Southsea common!

A rabbit is spotted.

In the spirit of the world cup this picture was sent to me the other day of ‘Rosie’ playing footie. She has found a new home with a lovely family and I know will be taken care. I also understand she gets to ride around in her owners bike basket, lucky Rosie!

Squid suggestions please!

If you follow me a facebook then you would have already seen this fellow, he’s been named Burt. I would like your suggestions as to where in Southsea I should ‘leave’ Burt to find a new owner and appear as a temporary piece of public art. Email       Oohlalapin@gmail.com and the winner will recieve a toy.

A bunny is spotted!

one lump or two?

This rabbit who has been named ‘Claude’ was spotted by its owners Becky and Evie having a cream tea in Devon. He has the honour of being the furthest west out of all the Ooh la Lapins. Thank you girls for your photo, wow that scone looks amazing, Claude is a blessed bunny!
